27 Years of Polar Expertise
Founded in 1999, Poseidon Expeditions has run 27 years of polar expedition voyages. It operates a single ship, the ice-strengthened M/V Sea Spirit, fitted with Rolls-Royce stabilizers and carrying 114 passengers. Poseidon has been an IAATO member since 2011 and is also an AECO member.
Maximum Time Ashore
Small ship — big advantage: at 114 passengers, up to 100 guests can go ashore at once under IAATO's landing limit, with the rest out by Zodiac or kayak, so no one waits aboard. Poseidon markets up to 3 landings per day, each lasting approximately 2.5 hours.

Expedition Team and Activities
The expedition team includes naturalists, biologists, geologists and historians. Optional activities include sea kayaking, overnight camping in Antarctica, Zodiac cruising and dedicated photography voyages. Poseidon has won the International Travel Awards' Best Polar Expedition Cruise Operator award for 2022 through 2025.
